Country Kit
In some installations of AutoCAD Civil 3D that include specific Country Kits, such as the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Country Kit, a compatibility issue may occur that leads to unexpected behavior within the software.
This incompatibility can cause:
- Unstable performance
- Unexpected functionality
- Error messages
- Fatal crashes
The issue is related to a conflict between certain components of the Country Kit and the Spatial Manager installation. As a result, Civil 3D may not operate as expected. The problem can be resolved by adding a required file to the AutoCAD installation directory, which restores proper compatibility between the base software and the affected Country Kit components.
Steps to fix the compatibility issue in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Close AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Make sure AutoCAD Civil 3D is completely closed before making any changes.
- Identify the installed version
- Confirm the version of AutoCAD Civil 3D you are using (for example, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2026).
- Locate the installation folder
- Navigate to the AutoCAD installation directory.
- For example, for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2026, the default path is:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2026
- Download the required fix file
- Download the provided file from this link.
- Extract and copy the file to the installation directory
- Open the downloaded ZIP file
- Extract the NTI.Toolkit.AssemblyResolver.dll file.
- Copy the extracted file NTI.Toolkit.AssemblyResolver.dll into the AutoCAD installation folder mentioned above in step 3.
- Confirm replacement (if prompted)
- If Windows asks for administrator permission or file replacement confirmation, approve the action.
- Restart AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Open AutoCAD Civil 3D again and verify that the unexpected behavior, errors, or fatal crashes are resolved.
Important notice: Before applying any of the following solutions, make sure to create a backup copy of all files that will be modified. Incorrect changes to configuration files may cause the application to malfunction or fail to start. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that these modifications be performed by a system administrator or by personnel with sufficient technical expertise.
